ANRITSU MT8820A is an advanced, multifunctional cable and antenna network analyzer designed to provide testers with reliable and accurate measurements of antenna gain, cable loss, and integrated device evaluation. MT8820A is capable of measuring frequencies from DC to 4 GHz, allows tests to be conducted using either a two-port vector network analyzer or a one-port scalar network analyzer. ANRITSU MT8820A's measurements are performed using two Vector Modulation Analysis (VMA) channels for both two and one-port measurements. The two channels of the VMA allow for more detailed evaluation of a device's performance under a variety of conditions. This test equipment can also be connected to a computer, enabling users to export data for further analysis in a text editor. One of the notable features of MT8820A is its high-frequency stability, which provides extended dynamic range measurement capability and low-level continuous time domain measurements. This allows it to perform accurate return loss, modulation scale and phase correction, group delay, and many other measurements. As an added value it also offers an embedded GPS receiver, to help record location and timing of the tests while making measurements. ANRITSU MT8820A comes with an intuitive user interface, which makes it easy to operate. The user interface has been designed to help users quickly access controls, such as zoom and drag, as well as a host of other adjustment functions for more advanced measurements. The user interface comes with an LCD display, which offers a number of functions, such as frequency sweep, branch points and frequency markers, limit lines and amplitude markers, and data scans and sweeps of up to 1000 points. MT8820A also boasts a variety of other features that make it an ideal choice for cable and antenna network analysis. It comes with two-port vector measurements, two single-port noise-figure measurements, and two-port signal source measurements. Additionally, it has a built-in T-R switch, as well as a reflection/transmission port to help with easy transitions between transmission and reflection measurements. ANRITSU MT8820A is a highly capable test equipment that is suitable for applications ranging from general cable and antenna analysis to measuring chip components. It is an advanced system that can produce reliable and accurate measurements. This makes it an ideal choice for professionals who need accurate performance from their electronic test equipment.
