IRD MECHANALYSIS 810 is an electronic test equipment used to measure the stiffness and running characteristics of rotating machinery. It is comprised of a four-sensor Dynamometer, an Integrated Control Unit with a numerical display, and a Windows compatible analysis software package. The Dynamometer, or 'Dyno', uses four torque transducers; each of the transducers is used to measure and then calculate the torque, speed, power, and other parameters related to the rotating machinery. The dyno can be applied to shafts with a maximum diameter of 32mm. The Integrated Control Unit independently controls the four transducers as well as the display on the numerical panel. The control unit can also be used to control the torque reference level, making it ideal for setting up tests with a wide range of torque levels as well as testing for a variety of anomalies, such as vibration and bearing noise. The software package is Windows compatible and allows for complete analysis of each of the torque transducer outputs, including the full spectrum of vibration, torque, speed, power, and bearing impedance. It is also able to accurately predict machine life under load, making it easier to decide on maintenance and repair activities. The data gathered by 810 can be exported, saved, and printed, making it easier to transfer the results to other applications. By connecting the dyno to a computer, the software also allows for real-time acquisition of the test data. Overall, IRD MECHANALYSIS 810 is an excellent tool for analyzing the performance and running characteristics of rotating machinery. It is easy to operate, allowing even new users to become familiar with the system quickly. Furthermore, the data gathered by the system is reliable and accurate, allowing the user to make confident decisions about the maintenance and repair of rotating machinery.
