J GREAT JC 1225A is an electronic test equipment designed for measuring and testing AC and DC circuits. It utilizes a specialized electromagnetic coil with adjustable testing range of 0.6 V to 2500 V. The range can be adjusted from 0.6 V to 25 V for AC measurement, and from 0.6 V to 2500 V for DC testing. The tested circuit is then connected to an external switch, marked as either 'DC' or 'AC' according to the type of measurement. When testing AC circuits, power is supplied to the circuit under test via two AC-output connectors; one is the 'DC' connector and the other is the 'AC' connector. JC 1225A makes use of a sensitive ammeter to measure the current flowing through the test circuit. The ammeter is designed to accurately measure AC and DC currents. It is fitted with an adjustable scale marked from 0 to 25 V and is provided with two adjustable selecting knobs. The first knob is used to adjust the current range of the ammeter; from 0 to 5 A for DC measurement and from 0 to 5mA for AC testing. The second knob is used to adjust the selection of AC frequency; from 50 Hz to 1000 Hz for AC measurement. J GREAT JC 1225A is provided with an oscilloscope and multiplexer to facilitate fault finding and circuit characterization. The oscilloscope measures the voltage and current waveforms of the test circuit which can be viewed on the built-in display. The multiplexer allows up to 4 different inputs to be connected simultaneously on the oscilloscope for comparison and correlation. The instrument is constructed with a robust housing which allows for easy and safe operation. It features a light indicator which is used to alert the user of any overload conditions. A standard measuring cable is provided for connection of the instrument to the test circuit. Finally, JC 1225A is designed to meet international safety standards and comes with a manual that outlines the guidelines for operating the instrument. It is a highly versatile instrument that can be used for both AC and DC measurements, and is highly suitable for use in industrial or laboratory settings.
