KEITHLEY 2430 is a precision source/measure unit (SMU) designed for use in production test and research/development applications. Featuring a unique combination of low current sourcing and switching capabilities, 2430 provides unprecedented versatility in the generation and measurement of electrical signals over a wide range of application conditions. It is suitable for a wide variety of applications, including components testing, nano-ampere sourcing, ultra-low current sourcing, and pico-amp measurements. KEITHLEY 2430 has two independent measurement and control channels. The primary output range is 4 nA, 2V, to 12A, 20V; with secondary ranges down to 0.1fA, 0.4V, and up to 200A, 200V. It can source both voltage and current, with output-overshoot and slew-rate settings that allow users to precisely control output waveforms. The two channels are independently programmable with a variety of operating and safety features, including over-current, over-voltage, and reverse protection. 2430 is ideal for current sampling or source-measurement operations, due to its high-gain accuracy and low source-impedance characteristics. If features a manual zero, allowing it to eliminate offset in critical measurements over long durations or under varying conditions. Programmable zero-tracking auto-zero control can reduce errors when making low-level current and voltage measurements. The unit has support for both sense/source and 4-wire measurement connections, further enhancing accuracy. KEITHLEY 2430 also features switching capabilities that can be used to automate measurements. It has two independent internal MOSFET relays for remote control of external devices or circuits, as well as eight general-purpose digital i/o ports. These control capabilities, combined with the unit's source/measurement functions, allow it to be used for automated test sequences. 2430 is suitable for high-sensitivity measurement and signal generation in a wide array of production test, research, and development applications.
