MARTEL LC-110 is an electronic test equipment designed to measure DC I-V curves, capacitances, and leakage current characteristics of solar cells. This state-of-the-art instrument features a high-accuracy, dual source, programmable digital control system. This high-precision system is capable of measuring the solar cell characteristics with an accuracy of 0.2%. LC-110 is equipped with a voltage range of 40 to 1500 volts and a current range of 5 to 1,000mA with resolution of 0.1 µV and 0.1 µA respectively. This wide range and high accuracy allow the user to individually adjust the voltage and current to match the test requirements of the solar cell under test. MARTEL LC-110 further features a computer interface that allows for complete monitoring and automation of the test process. The unique features of this instrument are its automatic compensation for offset voltage with both short or open circuit test conditions thereby accurately removing any system errors. Additionally, the real time display of total capacitance, diffuse and leakage capacitance, shunt and series resistances is made possible with the multiple channel scanning current data.
