Real time controller With cRIO-9103 Reconfigurable chassis 4-slots.
NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS cRIO-9004 is a compact reconfigurable I/O (RIO) system designed for use in industrial, laboratory and field applications. CRIO-9004 consists of two modular cards and a chassis that can be configured to create a powerful customizable solution for data acquisition, test, and control. The core of NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS cRIO-9004 is its two reconfigurable FPGA modules, the Controller FPGA and the Real-Time FPGA which both use powerful Xilinx Virtex-5Q FPGA technology. The controller FPGA allows for communication between the CPU and the external devices. The real-time FPGA enables versatile data acquisition, analysis and control applications. It provides a real-time deterministic parallel processing solution, with synchronous connectivity to hardware devices. CRIO-9004 also includes a quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU running at 1GHz for general purpose computing. The CPU provides a fast, reliable and energy-efficient solution to data processing. The system also includes 64MB of SDRAM (synchronous dynamic RAM) for buffering data and storage. NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS cRIO-9004 provides modular flexibility and software scalability with the cRIO-8814 analog input, cRIO-8675 digital input/output, and cRIO-8668 motion controllers. The cRIO-8675 provides a 2 channel isolated differential voltage input/output impedance up to 2MHz and is configurable over a range of 8-bit, 10-bit, and 12-bit voltages. The cRIO-8668 motion controller has an encoder input for analog/digital gains and includes a 3-D motion synthesis engine. CRIO-9004 includes NI-RIO software to enable powerful and reliable distributed programming and debugging. This software supports languages such as LabVIEW, C, and NI-DAQmx. With this software, accessing and programming both the FPGA and the CPU are possible. For timing and synchronization, the cRIO supports IEEE 1588-2008 Precision Time Protocol. NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS cRIO-9004 is highly scalable and configurable, and provides custom calibration, data monitoring, and analysis capabilities. It is ideal for applications in automotive, aerospace, medical, and industrial with a maximum operating temperature range of -4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. With its comprehensive features and high flexibility, cRIO-9004 is a powerful tool for applications requiring fast, reliable data and control.
