NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS / NI 9205 is an versatile analog input module with 16 independent channels for single-ended measurements. It is a digital/analog signal conditioning module designed to be used with NI Data Acquisition Products for electrically connecting and converting analog signals. This module features a high-impedance analog input with a programmable input range and offers a wide variety of mechanical and electrical connections and is available in a variety of package types. The module uses a differential input topology, providing susceptibility to electromagnetic interference and electrostatic discharge damage, and is ideal for use in noisy environments requiring high common-mode rejection. Due to its high channel density, speed and low-cost features, NI 9205 is an ideal solution for measuring temperature, pressure, strain, vibration and vibration accelerometers. NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS 9205 has 16 analog inputs channels with programmable input range from ±10V down to 1.9mV. The sampling rate of each channel is up to 200 kS/ sec. Other features of 9205 include:"single-ended or differential measurements, simultaneous sampling, automatic signal conditioning, sample and hold (500μs per channel) and bandwidth control (0.3 - 10kHz per channel). In addition to the digital interface, NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS / NI 9205 offers analog, digital and serial communication interfaces. A full range of digital and analog connections is available, including screw terminal block, BNC and IEEE-488, as well as optional connectivity via Ethernet/IP and USB. NI 9205 offers synchronized operation with other data acquisition devices, such as NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS / NI M-series multifunction DAQ cards, for system-level synchronization across multiple channels, ensuring consistent data accuracy. This module is built with an isolated power supply and includes individual channel validation for additional protection. NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS 9205 is a cost-effective and reliable solution for measuring temperature, pressure, strain, vibration and accelerometer measurements. It's high-impedance analog input and programmable input range provide a wide range of features for a variety of applications. In addition, its versatility and wide range of connectors makes it an ideal solution for applications needing high channel density, fast sampling rate and low cost.
