RFL 636 is a highly advanced electronic test equipment designed by RFL Instruments. It is a full featured test instrument developed for testing and debugging digital and analog circuitry. 636 is rated up to 8 GHz and can be used for testing and measurement of components, PCBs, interconnects, and systems. RFL 636 features six distinct measurement modes to cover the gamut of test and measurement requirements. These measurement modes are: Digital Measurements, Frequency Measurements, Vector Network Analysis, Impedance Measurements, Pulse Measurement and Amplitude Modulation. The Digital Measurement mode provides the ability to measure a wide variety of digital signals such as data rates of up to 20 MB/s and conditional transition time of up to 1 ns. Frequency Measurement mode allows accurate measurement of a signal's frequency, phase and modulation. Vector Network Analysis mode provides visualization of a signal's field characteristics as well as impedance and transfer function measurements. Impedance Measurement mode allows for the accurate measurements of impedance of components, PCBs and interconnects. Pulse Measurement mode allows for wide-range measurements of pulse rise time and fall time. Finally, Amplitude Modulation mode provides the ability to measure and display the frequency and amplitude of an AM signal. 636 also includes several features and capabilities that provide added utility for the debugging process. In addition to the various measurement modes, RFL 636 also offers a variety of triggering options for establishing accurate start and stop points for measurements as well as the ability to store measurement data in its internal memory. The unit also has an adjustable display size and can be used in a variety of fixtures or racks. To support its more advanced features, 636 is designed to be highly versatile and can accept a wide range of input devices including probes, cables, clip adapters, and optional testheads. This instrument also includes a built in application programming interface (API) that allows users to customize how they interact with the device. Overall, RFL 636 is a versatile and full featured test instrument that covers a wide range of digital and analog testing requirements. Its adds convenience, accuracy and reliability to a variety of testing tasks.
