ROHDE & SCHWARZ CMW 500 is a Vector Signal Generator (VSG) and Vector Signal Analyzer (VSA) that enables accurate and versatile testing of RF and mixed-signal designs. CMW 500 is a combined VSG and VSA that enables manufacturers to quickly conduct a wide variety of tests, from basic modulation to complex scenarios such as WiFi, Time Division Duplexing (TDD), Frequency Division Duplexing (FDD), and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). ROHDE & SCHWARZ CMW 500 is designed for sophisticated measurements and troubleshooting of wireless devices. It features a wide variety of modulation types, including GSM/EDGE, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, LTE, LTE-A, and 5G NR. Additionally, CMW 500 offers a high resolution, color touch screen display for easy navigation. It also can sustain high bandwidth signal processing to ensure accurate a test results. ROHDE & SCHWARZ CMW 500 comes with a wide range of software tools, including signal creation, power measurement, channel emulator and simulator, link budget and antenna performance testing, etc. It is also equipped with two independent signal sources and receivers. This makes it suitable for applications such as spectrum and BER/block error rate testing, MIMO/MIMO-OFDM measurements and link budget testing. CMW 500 includes a variety of signal conditioning and processing options. It can be configured to provide additional signal power for range extension measurements, interference identification, and signal strength measurement. ROHDE & SCHWARZ CMW 500 also has several synthesizers and converters, such as the synthesizer and the frequency converter, which allows users to configure signal parameters and set up real-time testing accurately. For a wide range of automated testing CMW 500 also comes with was included the SCPI programming interface.
