It is a combination of versatile instruments to handle different tasks such as generation, acquisition, analysis, and processing of high frequency signals. ESIB40 is based on a modular architecture and includes a set of instrument cards that can be used for various applications in the test, measurement, and diagnosis of complex electronic circuits. It includes six analog instruments, two digital instruments, a control module and a serial interface for communication with the host PC. The analog instruments are Frequency Synthesizers, Frequency Generators, Signal Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Beat Frequency Detectors and Frequency Discriminators. All of them integrate many features to address challenging measurement and application requirements. The Frequency Synthesizer card can generate analog signals up to 27 MHz and is able to address precise frequency setting and control requirements. Furthermore, the Frequency Generator card enables the precise setting of an arbitrary repetition rate, procedure or time. Both cards also offer user-friendly menus. The Digital Frequency Meter is used for precise frequency measurement with real-time accuracy.
