ROHDE & SCHWARZ SMBV100A is an electronic test equipment which is used to generate and analyze signal components in mm-wave frequency bands. This instrument has a frequency range of 24GHz to 44GHz and can generate multiple impulses, with a maximum bandwidth of 3.2GHz. SMBV100A is ideal for tests in 5G, aerospace and defense, microwave, semiconductor and automotive industries. It is ideal for developing wideband RF components and systems. ROHDE & SCHWARZ SMBV100A has three different modes of operation: Generate, Analyze, and Reflection. The Generate mode is used to generate a pulse signal and transmit it to the test port. In the Analyze mode, the instrument can be used to measure the output power, analyse the harmonic content and identify any non-linear distortion. The Reflection mode allows the measurement of the reflected waves, which can be used for impedance matching. SMBV100A is designed for maximum flexibility, with support for external modulation, pulse control and pulse synthesizers. The instrument can be used in pinpoint pulse characterization and power modulation tests. It features all-digital signal processing, with a sampling rate of up to 5GSPS. ROHDE & SCHWARZ SMBV100A also has advanced test capabilities, such as vector measuring receivers, frequency boosters and harmonic filters. It includes an optional high dynamic range up-converter, which enables it to perform measurements over a large range of frequencies. The front panel is user-friendly and provides access to AT-related features, while the rear panel includes all the necessary interfaces, such as USB 3.2, LAN and GPIB. The instrument's PC software can be used to control and configure the device, and for automated measurements. SMBV100A also supports a dedicated mobile app, allowing users to control the device remotely. These features make ROHDE & SCHWARZ SMBV100A highly versatile and efficient test equipment, providing users with an easy-to-use platform for signal generation and analysis in mm-wave frequency bands.
