ROHDE & SCHWARZ SMIQ03B is an electronic test equipment that combines the capabilities of a single-instrument Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) and a Digital Oscilloscope. It is a multifunctional, performance-rich test and measurement platform for use in laboratory and production testing applications. The VNA in ROHDE & SCHWARZ SMIQ-03B is capable of precise measurements of the S-parameters, scattering parameters and gain magnitudes. The 3-port configuration has maximum frequencies of 3GHz and many additional advanced features such as a wide harmonic range, wide range of vector modulation formats, universal pulse modulation (UPM) option, wide dynamic range, and two-tone impairments measurements. The VNA also features vector error-correction with the 3-port correction and user-defined correction tables. The AWG in SMIQ 03 B produces user-defined analog and digital signals with resolutions up to 12 bits or more. This AWG also features adjustable arbitrary pulse profiles, rectangular pulse trains, and multiple bursts with time, voltage and ramp time settings. It also supports arbitrary pulses with pulse amplitude and pulse width parameters, which are used in pulse width modulation. The digital oscilloscope part of SMIQ-03B provides real-time sampling rates up to 1 GSa/s and a memory depth of 10 Mpts. This oscilloscope works with a variety of probes and supports various trigger modes, intensive waveforms, Signal Interleaving, and segmented memory. Its standard functions enable comprehensive debugging and analysis of analog and digital signals. ROHDE & SCHWARZ SMIQ 03 B's intuitive user interface with touch panel, intuitiveKnob, integrated softkey and multiple display options also make the device easy to operate. It is also largely vibration and shock proof, meets CE, EMC and safety standards, making it an ideal measurement instrument for use in harsh environments. Its General Purpose Input/Output (GPIO) function can easily be used to control external devices in consideration of safety regulations.
