It has been designed for laboratory and production test of RF components. ZVB4 is the most advanced vector signal generator in the R&S family of test equipment. ROHDE & SCHWARZ ZVB4 includes features such as a high output power of up to +13 dBm for frequency range of 0.1 GHz up to 4 GHz, high frequency resolution with 1 Hz step, adjustable sampling rate of up to 125 Msamples/s, wide signal generator level with a range of -60 dBm to +13 dBm, and a wide range of output attributes. Additionally, ZVB4 utilizes a field-programmable gate array which provides a high processing speed and precision for complex modulations such as CDMA or 3GPP. ROHDE & SCHWARZ ZVB4 provides features for simulating realistic wireless channel conditions with its signal generation and analysis capability. It can be used to accurately emulate signal distortions caused by multipath and other impairments found in mobile communication environments. It can also be utilized for signal analysis of parameter such as channel state, signal quality, power levels, spectra, and modulation format.
