STANFORD RESEARCH SYSTEMS / SRS FS725
ID: 9232452
Rubidium frequency standard.
STANFORD RESEARCH SYSTEMS / SRS FS725 is a multi-channel frequency synthesis which offers a range of precise signal sources in audio, audio-frequency, and RF ranges. The device has both sine-wave and pulse-wave output options and provides operation in both in the range of 0.1 Hz to 1 MHz for sine waves and 0.05 Hz to 10 MHz for pulse-waves. Each of its seven channels is fully independent and gives an output power up to 4 Vpp and accuracy of 0.00005%. The device includes a precision frequency synthesizer with Channel Phase Adjust modes and an internal and external frequency reference source. Additionally, it features a built-in arbitrary-waveform generator which can produce waves with up to 19-bit resolution, either synthesized or imported from a file. Furthermore, SRS FS725 contains switching and logic controller, linear measurement calibration module and pulse pattern generator. The switching controller supports many different kinds of switching matrix sizes and can be conveniently operated through embedded software. It also includes a precision channel-output adjuster which can be used to adjust the gain and offset of each channel independently. Additionally, the device supports time-stamping, up to eight 160 MSamples/sec AtoD and Dto A converters and universal serial bus (USB) and Ethernet ports. Additionally, STANFORD RESEARCH SYSTEMS FS725 also allows for signal characterization, testwaveform generation and modulation. It includes low-noise modulation, FM and AM sweep, and pulse-position modulation for basic signal analysis. The device also features an integrated, wide-range power supply that accepts voltage ranges of DC-5V to DC-18V. It offers a high-efficiency linear regulation and a low-noise design for all power supplies. It includes a power-on delay and an internal alarm system. All channels are fused and an isolated digital power supply is provided to isolate the digital supplies from the analog outputs. Overall, the features of FS725 make it ideal for a wide range of applications, including production-line-testing, research, and development laboratories. With its wide range of output channels, and frequency synthesis capabilities, this device offers precision signal sources in many different configurations with a high degree of accuracy and stability.
