STANFORD RESEARCH SYSTEMS / SRS SR760 is an ultra-low noise wideband signal regeneration instrument designed for high precision test and measurement applications. It is capable of providing high levels of noise attenuation, dynamic signal regeneration, signal amplitude flatness and improved gain linearity while preserving input signal properties over a large signal bandwidth. SRS SR760's low-noise characteristics allow it to amplify signal components with noise levels of down to -156dBc /gHz for the lowest noise levels over a frequency range of 2MHz to 6GHz. The device features an internal noise source for impedance calibration, a third-order intercept low-noise device with a noise figure of 0.65dB, a source matched low-noise amplifier, a wide-input capacitor-coupled RF amplifier, an extremely low jitter instrumentation amplifier, and a high frequency receiver with a wide dynamic input range. It also offers an optional 2GHz downconverter for frequency extension. STANFORD RESEARCH SYSTEMS SR760's integrated preamplifier provides high-frequency gain of up to 41dB with low-noise performance and perfect linearity over a wide frequency range. This allows SR760 to amplify even weakly-coupled signal components, such as those present at a double-sided PCB board, while preserving their signal integrity. The device is also equipped with three simultaneous output ports, each of which can be independently attenuated with a range of up to 31dB.
