STANFORD RESEARCH SYSTEMS / SRS SR 830 is an electronic test equipment used for precision stabilization and servo control. It works with a range of precision stabilization and control capabilities including the use of an integrated reference signal source, servo input preamplifier, and servo output driver. SRS SR 830 is designed for use in a variety of test applications ranging from biomechanics to electronics. STANFORD RESEARCH SYSTEMS SR 830 features a standard 8-digit accuracy for precision stabilization with a control bandwidth of up to 300kHz, and the optional Extended Control Bandwidth (ECBW) packs upgrade to 500kHz bandwidth. To ensure excellent stability of the reference signal source, the processor features a temperature-compensated oscillator (TCO) that allows for precision control with accuracy of better than 1e-6. The processor also includes an autocalibration circuit and forced calibration circuit. SR 830 features a broad input range, up to 5.2V, and can provide two simultaneous outputs that are both regulated and fast-responding, each capable of over 1560mA peak drive current. The processor maintains voltage across several loop gains and filter types as well as small-signal bandwidths, enabling precision stabilization and servo control capabilities over a wide range of loads without need for analog or digital filtering. STANFORD RESEARCH SYSTEMS / SRS SR 830 includes Protective Junction Box (PJB) and servo preamplifier, for improving accuracy when large resistive, capacitive, and inductive loads are present. SRS SR 830's low-resistance Input Connection Unit includes a low-noise amplifier but also offers a connection for process control, enabling as many as seven input channels that allow simultaneous monitoring of an array of sensors or signals. In addition to providing powerful precision stabilization and control capabilities, STANFORD RESEARCH SYSTEMS SR 830 also offers a range of convenience features. It includes an LCD display, Master Key Interface, and multiple system presets to enable quick setup and operation. As a complete precision stabilization and servo control system, SR 830 packs everything needed to drive complex servo loops and monitor inputs from many types of sensors.
