TEKTRONIX 2714 is an analog storage oscilloscope, an electronic test equipment used to measure and analyze voltage signals in electrical and electronic circuits and systems. 2714 is a two-channel device featuring dual-beam sweep, which enables displaying two signals on a single display. The oscilloscope allows adjustment of four main settings, namely time base, vertical gain, horizontal gain and position. These settings enable observations of signals' characteristics and enable accurate measurements, as well as making some inferences about the behavior of the system generating the observed signals. TEKTRONIX 2714 has an x-y display with a brightness and focus control, a light-emitting diode (LED) display, analog time base and a sweep speed that can be adjusted from 0.5 µs/div to .5 s/div. The oscilloscope can measure amplitude, frequency, rise time between 10 ns and 1 ms, peak to peak voltage and pulse width at values of up to 10 V and less. 2714's sensitivity ranges between 0.2 V/div and 10V/div, and the input impedance is calculated at 1M ohm and around 20-25 pF. The oscilloscope has a 4.7 kHz trigger frequency and a 10 kHz maximum sine sweep of no overshoot. It also features a video bandwidth of 6 MHz, auto-triggering input, blanking and delayed sweeping functions, a dual trace sweep amplifier and an output of 0.5-V. The vertical accuracy of TEKTRONIX 2714 oscilloscope is ±3%, while the phase difference between two signals is typically less than 1°. 2714 oscilloscope is an excellent tool in the hands of technicians, engineers and scientists. The multiple adjustments and the range of settings in the device enable accurate and easy analysis and measurements. TEKTRONIX 2714 is easy to operate and suitable for use in laboratory, academic field, research and maintenance facilities for the observation and study of complex continuous and transient signals.
