TEKTRONIX 370A is an all-in-one test equipment featuring a single instrument with both analog and digital capabilities. Designed and produced in the late 1960s by TEKTRONIX Corporation, TEKTRONIX 370 A is noted for its reliability and accuracy in testing and measuring the performance of electronic circuits. 370A is an analog instrument with a five and a half digit Voltmeter and four and a half digit Digital Multimeter (DMM) with resolution of 0.1%. It also includes an LF function generator, which produces low-frequency sine waves with configurable outputs in the range of 0.1Hz to 100kHz. 370 A has five independent measurement channels, a wattmeter channel with 10:1 current probes and an adjustable-bandwidth pulse generator. TEKTRONIX 370A is powered by a 500VA power supply with an adjustable input range of 0-300V AC and 0-150V DC. The output level accuracy is good, reaching within 0.2% of rated value, as was the Dynamic range which reaches up to 215dB. TEKTRONIX 370 A features a 7-inch CRT cathode ray tube display and six total plug-in modules to facilitate versatility in testing and evaluating different types of components and circuits. The DMM functions measure DC voltage to a resolution up to 60000 counts with 0.1% tolerance and AC Voltage up to 200kHz with 0.2% accuracy, 10 ranges of AC and DC current and resistance, capacitance and temperature. It also includes an advanced ohmizer for detecting components with short or open connections. 370A uses above-average safety features such as audible and visual warnings when measuring circuits with voltages higher than 300V AC or 150V DC.With a high-quality design and features, 370 A is well-suited for technicians and engineers who need the full range of analog and digital capabilities in one instrument. With its multiple inputs and display capabilities it gives users range when testing and evaluating multiple components or circuits with precision accuracy, making it a welcomed tool in a wide range of industries, including aerospace, medical device manufacturing and industrial electrical testing.
