Curve Tracer.
TEKTRONIX 576 is a dual-beam oscilloscope designed for use in laboratory or industrial settings. It has two 6-inch cathode ray tube (CRT) displays and two input channels, allowing it to simultaneously measure both the amplitude and time of a signal. The scope is available in two models: the 576A and the 576B. The 576A model is the base oscilloscope model, featuring 100 MHz of bandwidth and 250V of input sensitivity. It can be further upgraded to 500MHz of bandwidth and a 500V input sensitivity with the optional 965A High Voltage Amplifier and the 576HV high voltage deflection amplifiers. The 576A also has an X-Y mode feature with a dedicated X-Y input connector. The 576B model has a wider bandwidth of 500MHz and includes a dual-extended trace feature, allowing simultaneous display of two traces on a single CRT. The extended trace feature extends the displayed waveform into the upper right corner of the CRT. It also has a wider dynamic frequency response than the 576A, with a maximum frequency of 2GHz. The two inputs can be configured individually with the chosen vertical scale, vertical coupling, horizontal scale, and sweep speed settings. Sweep speed can be adjusted from 2.5ms to 0.2s/cm with the accurate time base setting. 576 oscilloscope can be used to measure, display, and analyze amplitude-modulated, frequency-modulated, and period-modulated signals. It has a trigger level knob and vertical deflection output controls to adjust for noise and signal amplitude. The Auto-trigger feature allows for automatic triggering of the signal, while the Auto-sweep feature adjusts the time base for the maximum resolution of the signal. TEKTRONIX 576 also includes vertical and horizontal controls which allow for independant control of the signal along both axes. Additionally, it has intensity control adjustments for both screens, vertical centering, a power saving feature, and preset vertical sensitivity settings. 576 oscilloscope has many useful features and is reliable for use in laboratory or industrial settings. It has adequate resolution, accuracy, and display capabilities to help users visualize and analyze signal conditions with ease and efficiency.
