TEKTRONIX TDS 2014C is an electronic test and measurement instrument designed for use in commercial, industrial, and educational applications. It offers up to 200MHz bandwidth, 100 MS/sec sample rate, 2 channel/4 channel design, comprehensive measurement functions and logic decoding capabilities. Its features include a colour 7" active matrix TFT display with a display resolution of 640x480 pixels, a graphical user interface for easy measurements, a mobile version for on-site measurements, and an internal 24-bit Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) processor. TDS 2014C's basic design consists of a single main frame containing two independent channel interfaces, four independent channels of analog input, and two independent channels of digital input. It is powered by a 2GHz 32-bit processor, providing real-time performance and allows for trace storage in memory. The instrument comes with a 240MSample/second maximum sample rate, which makes it suitable for a wide range of applications. The instrument allows for both amplitude and time-domain measurements. At the front end of the instrument, two A/D converters are provided for up to two-channel signal capture. Both voltage and current inputs are supported, allowing measurements both in the time- domain and the frequency domain. With the integrated logic decoder, the instrument can convert digital protocol signals into meaningful data and display it. The instrument also offers advanced triggering capabilities, allowing users to choose from multiple methods of selecting either the start or the end of a trace. These include edge-triggering, pulse-width, window, and custom-defined pulse widths. A context-sensitive help system is provided to guide users. TEKTRONIX TDS 2014C comes with a number of analysis functions such as spectrum, time-domain, and distortion. With the spectrum analysis tool, users can analyze harmonics and jitter of signals. The time-domain functions allow users to analyze pulse or step responses. The distortion measurement functions allow users to measure harmonic and intermodulation distortion levels of up to the 6th order. Furthermore, a built-in waveform math feature allows users to calculate the result of mathematical operations and compare traces. The instrument is suitable for general purpose oscilloscope, low-frequency signal analysis, digital signal debug and timing analysis, as well as troubleshooting, testing, and development. It is particularly useful in engineering test and development, component testing, and troubleshooting, as well as in the commercial and educational domain. The mobile version provides enhanced mobility and flexibility with its USB port. With its comprehensive measurement functions and logic decoding capabilities, TDS 2014C is a powerful and versatile instrument for any need.
