TEKTRONIX TDS 754C/13/1F/1M/2F/2C is an 8-channel digital storage oscilloscope with a maximum 125 MHz bandwidth and real-time sample rates up to 2.5 GS/s. The oscilloscope offers two analog channels, two fast analog channels, a digital channel, and a multifunction (M-Set) channel. The two analog channels enable the user to measure voltage and current in unlimited ranges. The two fast analog channels allow users to measure the transient responses of small signal amplifiers and signals with high frequency content up to 20 MHz. The digital channel enables the user to measure digital timing and logic signals. The M-Set (Multifunction) channel can be used to measure signal parameters such as maximum/minimum, peak-to-peak, rise/fall time, average, cycle-to-cycle jitter, and pulse width. The TDS 754C has various advanced trigger modes to ensure accurate and repeatable signal capturing. It has advanced single-event, edge, video, width, slope, and logic (with external source) trigger modes. The instrument has a surface-mount microprocessor that uses personal computer-style architecture which is constantly updated introducing new measurement and analysis capabilities. The oscilloscope is designed for ease of use and incorporates a 15" color XGA LCD display, wide-screen TFT that allows an intuitive and interactive user interface. It also provides a wide range of functions and features including multiple math function capabilities, histogram/XY and data logging; as well as 8 MB user-accessible file storage. The oscilloscope also includes an internal hard drive and a variety of connectivity options, USB, Ethernet and a unique multichannel serial bus protocol. The TDS 754C supports serial busses such as SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface), and I2C (Inter-Integrated Circuit) which can be used to measure power supply and device performance. The TDS 754C is designed for EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) compliance testing using multiple time-gated sampling modes and has greater than 140 dB dynamic range. It is also capable of generating arbitrary waveforms up to 25 MHz with a real-time sample rate of 200 MS/s. The instrument can be powered by an AC or DC power source, and is designed for portable use. The case is designed for easy transport and has an integrated hardside carry case. The TDS 754C is a high performance, feature rich oscilloscope that is ideal for engineers, technicians and educators involved in research, engineering and product development. It is a powerful tool for a wide range of applications including power supply design, Integrated circuit design, power electronics characterization, automated test scenarios, and ATE. The oscilloscope is also suitable for use in a classroom setting, allowing students to visualize basic signal measurements in real-time.
