WILTRON 562 is a versatile electronic test equipment used to measure the radiation and electrical characteristics of near-field and far-field antennas. It supports manual and remote operation via a PC. The instrument offers a wide range of RF test capabilities such as frequency and isolation plot, dual line driver and gain linearity plot, polar plot, network analyzer scan and spectrum mask test. It also offers a unique 618Hz stop band filter for measuring antenna efficiency. It is capable of performing a range of scalar measurements such as standing wave ratio (SWR), return loss, group delay, delay distortion and gain compression. 562 is capable of automatically plotting the actual antenna pattern, several types of patterns are available for plotting, including 2D, 3D view, Linear Polarization and Circular Polarization. The plotting function can be used to identify the gain and phase variation of the antenna over time. WILTRON 562 is designed for easy calibration, and for routine maintenance, replacement parts can be installed easily without the need for complex calibration. The instrument is designed to meet the requirements of MIL-STD-883, making it suitable for a variety of military tests and applications. It is a cost effective solution for tasks such as antenna research and development, interference studies, verifying antenna performance and efficient measurements.
