Q-LAB Q-FOG is an environmental chamber primarily used to simulate environmental conditions of construction, automotive and aerospace testing applications. This chamber is equipped with a high-performance fogging equipment and provides controlled, repeatable laboratory and field environment tests. The chamber is designed to accurately test the performance of materials and parts at a wide range of temperatures and humidity levels. Q-FOG has a large stainless-steel inner shell which encases a steel interior liner. This steel interior liner is coated with a polyurethane foam insulation layer and provides effective thermal performance throughout the chamber. This insulation ensures that the unit maintains a consistent interior temperature. The chamber has a cooling system that includes a circulation fan, two variable-speed cooling compressors, an evaporator condenser and two misting heads. This cooling unit ensures that temperature levels remain within an acceptable range and will not vary significantly with changes in the ambient temperature or the level of humidity. The chamber is fitted with a digital temperature controller and humidity sensor. These components allow the user to adjust the temperature and humidity levels within the chamber with accuracy and precision. The chamber is also equipped with safety features such as a thermocouple and high-level water detection machine which cuts off the misting head to prevent any further misting in the event of a power failure. Q-LAB Q-FOG is designed to generate an environment for a wide variety of environmental tests including accelerated aging, temperature cycling and corrosion testing. This chamber produces a very fine mist that can be used to simulate the effects of high humidity, dust, rain, and spray environments. The misting head can also be used to produce a wide range of fog and fog types in order to simulate application specific environmental conditions. The chamber can be used for performing automotive and aerospace endurance tests on finished components, such as engines, transmissions, break lines, sensors, and others. The chamber can also be used to simulate environmental conditions encountered during extended field testing. Q-FOG has a range of options which can be tailored to meet a variety of customer needs. This includes digital controllers, vibrational tables, and an optional remote monitoring tool that allows users to control the chamber remotely.
