VWR 97025-630 is a reliable environmental chamber designed for laboratory testing and storage applications requiring precise temperature and humidity control. The chamber is designed to accommodate a variety of sample sizes and is suitable for use in room or laboratory temperatures of 5°C to 40°C (41°F to 104°F). The interior has four adjustable shelves and a floor-level clearance of 15 cm (6"). The temperature range of 97025-630 is from -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F) with stability of ±0.1°C (±0.2°F). The humidity range of the chamber is from 85% to 99%, and humidity stability is ±3%. The chamber is equipped with an automatic condensate evaporator to keep the humidity low and a multi-segment microprocessor controller to allow for user-adjustable conditions, including ramp time and temperature intervals. VWR 97025-630 also features an active air circulation system which helps maintain even temperatures and humidity throughout the chamber. The internal air flow rate is approximately 1.2 m/s (246 ft/min). Additionally, the chamber is equipped with an excitation/monitoring port that allows for external connection of measurement and recording instruments. 97025-630 is constructed with a highly reflective stainless steel interior finish to provide maximum temperature stability throughout the chamber. Additionally, the exterior of the chamber is made from a high-grade epoxy powder-coated steel at a thickness of approximately 0.5 mm (19 mils). As such, it is UL listed and conforms to CE standards.
