PVA TEPLA / TECHNICS PlasmaPen is an etching and cutting system that utilizes plasma technology to quickly and safely etch or cut a variety of materials. The etcher features low spatter, high precision, no toxic gases, and compatibility with a wide range of materials. TECHNICS PlasmaPen is powered by a direct current (DC) arc which is generated by an internal capacitor bank that is charged with a high-frequency, high-voltage power supply. The power supply has a wide range of input voltage and frequency adjustable parameters, allowing users to set the desired etching or cutting conditions. The specially designed nozzle directs the plasma jet to the desired feature of the material. The nozzle is designed with a counter-rotating central electrode to produce a wide and even plasma flame. This provides a wide variety of features including higher etch/cut depths, faster etch/cut speeds, and reduced edge sharpness for a more uniform finish. PVA TEPLA PLASMA PEN is outfitted with an ergonomically designed handpiece with integrated nozzle. It has a no-vibration feature which reduces fatigue of the operator's hand during use. This allows users to work more quickly while also providing the necessary precision for intricate etching and cutting. PVA TEPLA PlasmaPen can be used on a variety of materials, including metals, alloys, ceramics, plastics, and rubber. The system is able to etch into the material up to 0.2 inches in depth and cut materials up to 3/4 of an inch thick. The etched materials can be piezoelectric or ferromagnetic, enabling the system to enable various types of etching applications. This includes etching intricate features into a variety of products, including PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards), medical implants, sensors, and cell phone hardware. PVA TEPLA / TECHNICS PLASMA PEN is a low-cost, high-performance etching and cutting tool that is easy to use and produces high-quality results. It provides an economical and safe way to etch and cut many different materials, providing a wide range of possible applications.
