YES / GLEN R1 is a thermal etcher / asher manufactured by YES Corporation. It is designed for the vias batch processing of printed circuit boards and similar materials. YES R 1 is ideal for creating high precision contact pads, etching trough-holes, and forming tight thermal connections. GLEN R-1 is a 1-sided thermal etcher / asher with features such as two independent control systems, fast heating and cooling, 3-step PID programming, taper control, automatic self-resetting and air-purge, allowing for repeatable, controllable and uniform etch profiles. YES R1 also features a digital display for easy adjustment and monitoring of parameters while preheating and processing. It has a furnace temperature up to 820°C and its pulsed laser beam can etch 50mm depth at 5 mm intervals.
