BALZERS SCS 800 Evaporation Equipment is a unique, high-performance evaporator system, developed to meet the toughest evaporation requirements. It is an industrial evaporator unit which aims to replace traditional technologies such as multiple stage boiling, recrystallization and batch steam distillation. SCS 800 Evaporation Machine is designed to evaporate large volumes of water quickly and efficiently, while reducing energy costs, operating costs, and environmental impact. The tool is capable of evaporating many different types of water, ranging from pure water and wastewater to solutions of various solids, such as the organic and inorganic compounds. BALZERS SCS 800 evaporator consists of a reheating chamber, a cooling chamber, a condensing chamber, a concentrator, and a finishing chamber. The asset is designed to evaporate a mixture of fresh and/or recycled water, including particles of all sizes and shapes, which are separated from the water by a series of filters. These filters are designed to ensure the water is free of any type of impurity or heavy particle. The heat from the evaporation is provided by heating coils, heated with waste heat from an on-site industrial process. The heated coils are typically immersed in the evaporator vessels.
