LTX-CREDENCE ASL-1000 is a final test equipment produced by LTX-CREDENCE that supports advanced system-level test (ASL) applications. The unit provides an integrated suite of test technologies including high-speed logic and parametric test, inline machine test (IST), and wafer-level test (WLT). It is designed to cost-effectively improve manufacturing yields and reduce scrap rates. LTX-CREDENCE ASL 1000 can be combined with LTX-CREDENCE WaferPro Station to increase test flexibility and throughput. ASL-1000 contains a high-speed Intel® microprocessor, which enables test frequencies up to 3 GHz, as well as a high-speed embedded processor for ASIC emulation. The tool supports a wide range of test peripherals and instruments, including DMM and digital oscilloscope (DSO) systems, z-tokens, and inductors. It also includes 4 GB of DRAM, 1 GB of flash memory, and 24 digital I/O channels for test devices such as printers, signal sources, scanners, and PCs. ASL 1000 includes Point-of-Test Interface (POTI) software to control and synchronize digital signal stimulus and pattern analysis, as well as Embedded Simple Programming Interface (ESPI) to provide unified programming control. The asset also supports high-speed, high-contrast display capabilities. For applications requiring fault isolation and debugging, LTX-CREDENCE ASL-1000 supports single- and multi-device debug, with visual feedback through on-chip and cross-die probes. The model also supports hardware-based design validation, where high-speed access to equipment registers can be emulated with ASE-include. Access to debug, system control, and bit storage is provided through control registers, trace ports, and unit debug logic. LTX-CREDENCE ASL 1000 uses advanced test planning and scheduling features to maximize test efficiency and throughput. The TestPlanValidation software automates the process of creating, organizing, and scheduling multiple test plans. It is also compatible with the TestKits libraries for online simulation of design, simulation, and verification. ASL-1000 is available in an all-in-one package, including a terminal and computer. The user-friendly, intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) enables fast set up and test customization. It is also expandable to meet future product requirements and is designed to ensure consistency and repeatability of tests.
