NEXTEST / TERADYNE Maverick II PT is a fully automated final test equipment designed for use with ultra-high-pin-count devices. It is a high speed, high throughput solution for final testing in production and development environments. NEXTEST MAVERICK II-PT provides a flexible test architecture with modular components and high levels of configurability, enabling custom test solutions to meet customer specific requirements. TERADYNE MAVERICK II PT contains a large PCB test head and multi-site system architecture. This multi-site architecture and a high-capacity board handler supports testing of up to 6 devices per site, and up to 6 devices per board, with a maximum of 36 devices tested across the entire unit. It also supports simultaneous testing of devices with different pin counts, with an efficient test time due to its high-speed test adapter and handling capability. MAVERICK II-PT incorporates the highest levels of safety and reliability, ensuring an efficient and secure test process. It features voltage, current, continuity, and ac/dc parametric tests, and provides a concurrent and interactive user interface to control machine functions. It has a personal computer (PC) based architecture and can communicate with other test systems, as well as NEXTEST/TERADYNE proprietary Remote Test Server (RTS) or software. TERADYNE MAVERICK II-PT also contains NEXTEST / TERADYNE/NEXTEST award-winning Test Optimization Engine (TOE) which enables users to select the most efficient test plan and the shortest total testing time based on the device technology characteristics and configuration data, as well as test parameters for each device. This helps to maximize throughput and minimize test time. The TOE also contains adaptive algorithms which can improve the accuracy of yielded measurements, allowing it to continually optimize test parameters during production testing. In addition, NEXTEST MAVERICK II PT supports statistical process control (SPC) to help identify any process defects quickly and accurately. To maintain tool performance, it has a comprehensive maintenance and calibration tool, which helps to reduce downtime and optimize asset operation.
