TERATECH TPAM-CA-040N-SEU2M is a galvanized steel ATEX/IECEx Zone 2 cabinet, specifically designed for mounting small electrical enclosures in hazardous environments. The unit is highly resistant to corrosion and all weather conditions, providing safety from sparks and other potential sources of ignition in areas where explosive dust or gas exists. The cabinet has three compartments—one for the main control cabinet, and two for auxiliary enclosures. The main control unit comprises of a 3mm galvanized steel sheet base and contoured zinc-plated steel sheet sides. The door panel is connected to the body with stainless steel hinges and secured with a high-security lock system. The door also features ventilation louvers to ensure environmental protection. All of the enclosure's edges are protected with an expanded polyurethane foam seal to ensure protection against dust and water. The Cable Entry Panel (CEP) and Knock-Outs (KOs) provide safety and convenience to the user while connecting the external instrumentation to TPAM-CA-040N-SEU2M. The Cable Entry Panel is a polycarbonate plate at the rear side of the main control cabinet with openings to allow the cable entry; while the Knock-Outs are pre-installed containing 4mm or 6mm thread as applicable.
