ISMECA NX 16 is a modern handler used for efficient and accurate assembly and testing of electronic components. It is a 4th generation robot, designed to provide efficient robotic handling and placement of small to medium sized electronic components. Offering 16 degrees of freedom, this robot has the ability to pick up, place, rotate and center electronic components with a single robot arm. This makes it ideal for assembling, soldering, inspecting and testing a variety of electronic components. ISMECA NX16 features a fully modular robotic structure, meaning that components can be moved or added with ease. It also offers an integrated vision equipment, which works in conjunction with the robot's six axes of motion to correctly align components. A built-in manipulator system further enables precision movements, by precisely controlling the rotational alignment of electronic parts. Additionally, the integrated Open Automation software allows for fast and easy programming of the robot. Furthermore, the robotic handler is equipped with a precision feeder unit, enabling part feeding from various origin points such as conveyors, box feeders, and tray feeders. This allows for operation with an increased number of processes and component assembly options. The feeder machine further uses an integrated air pressure tool to separate components if required. To ensure optimal accuracy, the robot arm is driven by a DC brushless motor, which offers high control performance and low noise. In terms of safety, NX-16 is equipped with safety systems to ensure the protection of both personnel and equipment.
