MULTITEST MT 8704 is a handler for automated testing and prober systems. The handler is designed to provide a wide range of test and probing solutions in T&M, Industrial Automation, Semiconductor, and Consumer Electronics industries. MT 8704 features a patented "Robust Test Technique" that guarantees optimum test performance by performing single-pass measurements and allowing fast test time optimization. MULTITEST MT 8704 is a self-contained equipment that can be connected to a PC or ATE software. It is equipped with an easy to use graphical user interface (GUI) which allows for quick and easy set-up of test programs. The GUI includes an integrated simulator that can be used to simulate various test conditions including contact closure, signal arriving delay, glitch detection, matrix set-up, device level integrity, and alignment sequencing. On top of this, the GUI utilizes a wizard-like step-by-step approach which makes data programming simple and efficient. MT 8704 provides high accuracy measurements thanks to its 16-bit A/D converter with a dynamic range from -110 dBm to 50 dBm, ensuring accurate readings even in extreme conditions. The system also features a variety of instrumentation options such as multi-frequency probes, contact sensors, color sensors, force/torque sensors, vibration sensors, and temperature probes. Additionally, the unit has the capability to generate spike1 and spike2 voltages of up to 100 V. MULTITEST MT 8704 is equipped with data management capabilities such as configurable barcode scanner input, RFID reader input, and optional GSM/Wi-Fi connectivity for remote diagnostics.
