SEIKO / EPSON NS 7000 is a modern, high-performance microprocessor-based handler designed for industrial material handling applications. It offers improved performance over traditional mechanical handlers and is ideal for repetitive and precision material handling tasks. SEIKO NS 7000 is composed of a base unit which contains the controllable X-Y-Z axes, a positioning drive, dedicated high-speed microprocessor and circuitry, and an auxiliary controller. It has provisions for up to four 6-axis handheld manipulators and stationary tools, such as a robot, motion controller, and robot controller. The robot is a 6 axis robotic arm designed to be capable of 3D motion and it has high repeatability in its movements, giving it very precise and accurate material handling capabilities. EPSON NS 7000 features a high speed data transfer system and a high degree of accuracy. This is due to the microprocessor-controlled positioners and controllers. The controller enables the robot arm to accurately know where it is located in space and its motion is controlled in three axes of motion (X, Y, Z). It can rotate up to 180 degrees and return to its original position at high speed. The communication interface of NS 7000 is TCP/IP with a 10 Base-T/100 Base-TX Ethernet connection. This allows for remote communication and can be connected to a PC, a local area network or the Internet. The handler can be programmed via a standard PC or a remote terminal. It also includes a built-in self-diagnostic system which enables it to diagnose possible malfunctions and display them on the graphical LCD display. SEIKO / EPSON NS 7000 has integrated safety features such as protective covers and bumpers, as well as emergency stop functions. This ensures safety when working with material handling robots. SEIKO NS 7000 can also be configured to work in a safe environment where unassigned operations are blocked. Overall, EPSON NS 7000 material handling robot is a highly efficient, accurate, and reliable handler with the capability to execute repetitive, precise, and accurate tasks. Its integrated safety features, coupled with its high data-transfer rate, make it the ideal choice for industrial material handling applications.
