The handler is equipped with a three-axis robot drive, 2D barcode reader, vision camera and special functions for specialized automatic insertion. Its compact design allows for flexibility in placement, and operation is simple with a touch panel LCD. SEIKO NS 8080 handler is capable of performing high-speed sorting, insertion, and holding operations. It can be used to insert components such as chip pin connectors, connectors, and SSOPs into printed circuit boards at high speeds up to 6,000 cycles per hour. Additionally, the synchronized operation of the robot and the feeder can achieve speeds up to 8,000 cycles per hour. EPSON NS-8080 handler comes with several functions and options to customize the assembly process. A built-in vision camera feature is designed to reduce setup time and verify accurately if the part is loaded correctly to the machine. Additionally, a dynamic voltage control feature helps to save energy and provide a stable operation. A sorting tray return system is available for insertion of components into multi-component boards. SEIKO NS-8080 also offers a CCD Barcode Reader with a resolution of 0.2mm. The data read from the barcode can be used to accurately control the components inserted into the board. The handler also has a Pin Assignment Frequency (PAF) function which allows for quick and accurate assignment of pin numbers and functions when inserting various connectors into the board.
