COMMONWEALTH SCIENTIFIC Millatron is an ion milling equipment that is used to remove and accumulate desired molecules from surfaces in order to study them or create nano- or micro-structures. Millatron is capable of achieving a range of milling parameters, with the achievable range of the ion parameters being between 0 to 1kV, 0 to 10mA and 10 to 1000ms. Other milling parameters can be selected, such as the chamber pressure, the rate of bombardment, the desired pressure in the target chamber and the scanned area of the sample.
