HAMILTON ROBOTICS MicroLab STARLet is an automated liquid handling equipment designed for laboratory automation. The robotic system is comprised of the robotic deck, 7-axis manipulator, and microprocessor-controlled instrumentation. The robotic unit is capable of performing functions such as aspirating, pipetting, mixing and transferring fluid samples, as well as performing automated extractions, serial dilutions, and other lab operations. The robotic deck is solid, robust and made from aluminum which has been machined and powder coated, ensuring corrosion and dust resistance. The dimensions of the deck are 73.6cm (L) x 40,6cm (W) x 8.6cm (H) and it weighs approximately 32kg. A range of accessories can be mounted to the deck, including reagent bottles, samples racks, 96- and 384-well plates and plate reagents. The 7-axis manipulator is constructed from stainless steel, aluminum and plastic. The arm is capable of performing tasks such as aspirating, pipetting, and mixing. It houses a 1.2 liter liquid reservoir capable of accommodating up to 24 individual fluids, and is directly connected to the 50ml DataAccess syringes. MicroLab STARLet utilizes a microprocessor-controlled operation platform. This software is capable of automatically executing various protocols, including extraction and serial dilution, as well as data logging and analysis. It is able to store up to 10 protocols, allowing users to effortlessly switch between protocols as needed.
