MICROMERITICS EIZone II 5390 is a powerful and versatile tool designed to deliver accurate, reliable, and repeatable measurements of gas pressure, relative humidity, and evaporative cooling. This lab equipment and accessory provides users with a comprehensive range of options for controlling their environment to achieve desired levels of vapor pressure and other properties of ambient air. Using the instrument is straightforward; simply connect it to the power source, set the desired measurement parameters, and activate the device. EIZone II 5390 records and stores all measurements in its storage media, allowing users to access and analyze the data for quality or process control purposes. Its unique design features two independent pressure transducers - one operating in low temperature (up to -30°C) and the other in high temperature (up to +120°C) - to measure both vapor pressure and relative humidity. Its non-contact thermistor measures temperature of the air, and its WKCF sensor measures evaporative cooling. The unit is powered by either the included AC adaptor or batteries, and its user-friendly LCD display interface makes data acquisition and analysis controlled and efficient. The pressure transducer measures the pressure and humidity of a specified environment by monitoring the resistance exerted by a sample of air or other gas being applied to the transducer. When temperatures are taken into account, the transducer is able to calculate the actual pressure and humidity in the environment. The WKCF sensor measures evaporative cooling by measuring the moisture content in the air. This makes it ideal for controlling vaporizers, climate conditioning, or related systems. By measuring the amount of evaporative cooling, users can set and maintain desired levels, creating the desired climate parameters. The included AC adapter can be connected to regular power sources for continuous correlation and analysis. Alternatively, the instrument can be connected to a computer or data logging system via a serial port.
