SAVANT / THERMO AES1010-120 is an absorbance evaporative sampling accessory developed for use in atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) and atomic emission spectroscopy (AES). This accessory features a heatable Peltier element to achieve an accurate vaporization of the sample in a controlled atmosphere. The evaporator set-up also includes a sample reservoir that is placed in the sample thermal chamber for sample introduction, as well as a vacuum line for aspirating the sample into the sample cell for analysis. This SAVANT AES1010-120 accessory is constructed of stainless steel with two heating zones that can be independently adjusted for precise sample temperature. Heating elements can be set to either constant or variable temperature operation and can be used to preheat the sample well prior to analysis or hold a specific sample temperature during analysis. The sample reservoir offers variable spacing for samples of different sizes and consists of a stainless steel, nickel-plated lid with a built-in, adjustable position adjustable injector for easy sample introduction.
