Hematology analyzer.
SYSMEX XE2100 is a bench top, 5-Part Differential Hematology Analyzer that provides reliable and precise measurement of red and white blood cell count (RBC/WBC), as well as platelet size and concentration. The analyzer is part of a laboratory's hematology line and is capable of providing accurate analysis on a wide range of specimen types, such as anticoagulants, whole blood, and other body fluids. The equipment is highly automated and requires minimal operator intervention. It is equipped with a 21-parameter automated hematology system which includes automated differential cell counting, automated flagging capability, automated red cell indices, automated ID smear, multi-language capability, and panel ID coding. XE2100 offers several advantages over manual methods for the detection and analysis of hematological abnormalities. The unit provides precise and timely information regarding the presence or absence of hematologic markers in patient specimens. The automated differential blood counting feature facilitates the laboratory staff to rapidly identify various morphological studies such as blasts, immature granulocytes and lymphocytes, as well as their associated populations. Additionally, the machine can be programmed to operate at any workflow speed including fractional profiles, high and low ranges, and reportable ranges. The tool also interfaces with other hematology systems such as SYSMEX K-1000, which offers integrated monitoring and control of laboratory procedures. This capability allows for improved laboratory workflow and efficient data transfer between systems. SYSMEX XE2100 features a host of accessories, such as Cabinets, Liquid Handlers, Bar-code readers, Reagent Packs, LCD printers, and a Data Acquisition Asset. The LCD printer provides access to a range of diagnostic and diagnostic/quality control reports such as QC Charts, Patient/Lifetime Reports, Expected Results Follow Up, and Quality Control reports. The Data Acquisition Model can be used to transfer laboratory results via Ethernet or serial cable to a remote PC for quality control purposes and storage. The equipment is certified for use in Europe and is quality and safety tested as per European standards. It is also in compliance with all applicable international safety regulations and meets the requirements of the ISO / IEC 17025 standard. As such, it is widely used throughout the world in clinical and research laboratories.
