The second stage includes a ULPA filter, which captures 99.999% of particles measuring 0.12 microns or larger. Both filters are certified to an efficiency standard of IEST-RP-CC-0025. This ensures that the enclosure is providing optimal chemical, biological, radiological and physical containment. BAKER SterilGARD III SG 603 is designed with a robust air vent delivery system. This unit delivers air at a balanced velocity across the entire length of the work surface, creating an unobstructed, evenly distributed laminar flow pattern. It also includes a variable speed fan control motor, adjustable for up to 110 CFM (cubic feet/minute) of airflow, to better suit a variety of applications. In addition, this laminar flow and fume hood has an adjustable work surface that can be angled from 0-500. The intuitive digital monitor displays real-time readings of airflow velocity and differential pressures so they are always within operator-defined ranges. In terms of containment, SterilGARD III SG 603 has a unique Polysleeve glove machine, where glove ports are recessed to the top of the inner chamber to direct air outwards instead of inwards.
