INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY / IT S1-Double Fume Hood is a specially designed laminar flow and fume hood that provides superior protection and containment of vapours, fumes, and aerosols in the laboratory environment. The equipment combines two, side-by-side, laminar flow units, allowing for a comfortable working position for operators in the laboratory. IT S1-Double laminar flow and fume hood ensures the removal of chemical vapours, fumes and aerosols that generate during processes such as mixing chemicals, evaporating samples, or handling volatile substances. INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY S1-Double Fume Hood is designed to offer maximum protection against contaminants from entering the work area. The hood is constructed with a double-opposed, low-profile design and stainless steel construction. The lower section is made of heavy-duty stainless steel, while the top flap is constructed with aluminum. To ensure maximum operational safety, S1-Double is equipped with a blower system that is designed to supply the correct air flow rate into the hood and direct any contaminants away from the operator. The air is drawn through an inlet on the front of the hood and then expelled through the exhaust at the back. INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY / IT S1-Double also features an adjustable flow-rate setting, allowing the hood to be adjusted to specific application requirements. The adjustable airflow can be set anywhere from 1 - 3 meters per second, depending upon the required air volume and containment conditions. In addition, IT S1-Double features a powerful, and adjustable illumination unit. The main chamber includes two lighting tubes that can be adjusted according to the required illumination intensity. To ensure the correct air flow, INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY S1-Double is equipped with an unique "anti-flow" vent machine. The anti-flow vent tool eliminates air turbulence around the work area, ensuring that the correct uniform air flow is maintained throughout the process. The hood also features an ERV/EAR asset, which includes both Exhaust Relief Valves (ERVs) and Exhaust Air Relief (EARs). ERVs help to reduce turbulence levels and maintain uniform air flow, while the EARs provide additional protection against fumes and vapors. Finally, the hood is designed with safety features in mind. IT includes a spring-loaded, spring-hooked Charcoal filter with a carbonMononitrate filter for superior chemical protection. INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY is also designed with two separate doors that are used to protect the operator and the laboratory environment. The doors can be automatically closed at the start of the process, and automatically reopen once the process is complete. This ensures that the containment and safety measures are maintained at all times.
