SWECO FM 1.2C is an advanced laminar flow and fume hood designed for use in laboratories. This type of hood is designed to establish and maintain laminar flow of filtered air into the work area, to create a clean and safe work environment. SWECO FM 1.2C features a vertical sash window with an aerodynamically designed front panel, which offers a superior level of ventilation and protection from potentially hazardous material. The hood is constructed with a heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant frame made of powder-coated steel for superior durability and rigidity. It is also fitted with an ABS plastic liner and tempered glass as a fire-retardant and noise-resistant barrier. The airflow within SWECO FM 1.2C is generated by two centrifugal type combination blowers. These blowers are highly efficient and provide a smoothly distributed laminar air flow with minimal turbulence. The front panel of the hood can be adjusted to ensure the required amount of air flow is met. The blower assembly is also electronically controlled for precise regulation and calibration. SWECO FM 1.2C is equipped with two 4-inch filters which help to protect the operator and the work environment by trapping dust and other debris. These filters are constructed with epoxy-coated fiberglass media, and rated to secure MERV 16 filtration efficiency.
