CHICAGO CLS 907 is a powerful, yet compact cyclic CO2 laser equipment that is ideally suited for cutting and welding a variety of conductive metals, plastics, composites and non-conductive materials. The laser's high-energy, low-divergence beam and low beam divergence allow for extremely precise operations on a wide range of materials. Utilizing CATALYST laser technology, CLS 907 utilizes a "glass delay" concept that allows the laser to operate at high peak powers while maintaining maximum focus and low electrical losses. CHICAGO CLS 907 has a wide range of pulse widths from 0.1 - 200 nanoseconds with a maximum peak power output of up to 100 kW. The system is equipped with a high-accuracy servo motion unit with an encoder resolution of 0.020mm, allowing the laser to be rapidly and precisely delivered to the target. The beam quality is excellent, specified to a diffraction limited near-Gaussian beam profile that allows for consistently high-quality processing results. The laser is designed for extremely dependable operation in both industrial and laboratory environments. CLS 907 features a sealed, purged and stable optical chamber, reinforced with a non-contaminant thermal management machine that provides accurate power control and excellent cooling capacities. The laser is equipped with a patented Multi-tune Process Stability Adjustment Tool that allows users to set their laser parameters to meet the specific needs of their applications. The asset includes a 19" flat panel LCD touch-screen display and graphical user interface that enables users to access and monitor the laser's operation and settings. Integral safety features ensure compliance with EN120730 and CE standards, and the model is ready to meet any industrial requirements. The laser is capable of handling a wide range of processes such as welding, cutting, drilling, engraving, and layer welding and can be used for a variety of materials, including metals, plastics, composites, and ceramics.
