ESI 44 is a type of solid-state laser that produces laser light with a wavelength of 4400 nm in the near-infrared (NIR) spectrum. The laser is designed for use in a wide range of industrial, medical and scientific applications. This laser has a high output power of up to 10 Watts and does not require any water-cooling system. It has a compact design and a robust housing. It is suitable for OEM applications and does not require frequent maintenance. Its emission-line center is at 4405 nm and the spectral output width is +/- 5 nm. It has a pulse duration of 10 ns (10 nanoseconds). 44 is a diode-pumped solid state (DPSS) laser which uses a semiconductor diode laser to pump a solid state gain medium composed of an EDN (ethylene-diamine) doped Nd:YAG crystal. The semiconductor laser diode generates an optical beam which is then amplified by lasing within the doped gain medium. This generated laser beam is then emitted from ESI 44. It has a long lifetime with an expected operational lifetime of up to 10,000 hours. Through its unique design, 44 laser produces low-divergence (up to 5 degrees) and slightly elliptical near-infrared light beams with excellent beam quality. It is equipped with a three-element lens that is mounted directly onto the laser head and allows for easy adjustment of the optical output. It also has built-in temperature and current monitors that regulate the laser's performance for optimal efficiency and output power. ESI 44 laser is capable of producing laser light that can be used for many different applications including laser printing, laser cutting and laser machining. It can also be used for medical treatments such as tissue ablation, ophthalmology and surgical applications. 44 laser can be used to generate images and measurements for a wide range of research, educational and industrial settings.
