ESI M9275 is a solid-state laser capable of generating repeatable, predictable, and highly accurate outputs of laser radiation. It is designed for laser material processing and has the capability to select and change wavelengths on the fly. It has integrated multiple field-replaceable laser diode modules for increased performance and reliability. M9275 output comprises laser pulses on a nanosecond timescale with a peak power of up to 1 MW and can be operated from 10 Hz to 1 kHz with pulse duration up to 10 ns. It has collimated background-free output and comes with a resonator chamber that has a variable focus and a grazing-angle output coupler to ensure an optimal beam quality. ESI M9275 is a compact design that features integrated sensors, interlocks, detection systems, and control systems. It is built with an advanced water cooling system that enables the laser diode to operate at its maximum performance without surpassing rated current or power. In addition, the temperature of the laser diode is monitored by an integrated thermal sensor for precise temperature control. M9275 also has a M2 controller that enables automated and manual focusing, but also provides adjustable pulse repetition frequency (PRF) and status monitoring of the entire system in real time. It has a display that simplifies programming of the PRF., wavelength, focus position, pulse width, and other parameters for automatic control of the laser.
