LAMBDA PHYSIK LP 3248 laser is an Nd:YAG (Neodymium:yttrium-aluminium-garnet) crystal laser, designed for industrial application laser micromachining operations. The laser is an ultra-short pulse laser, providing extremely high peak power with short laser pulse lengths and higher repetition rates. LP 3248 model has a maximum pulse energy of 200mJ, and a maximum pulse length of 500ps (picoseconds) with a pulse repetition rate up to 1 MHz. It has an integrated laser oscillator and amplifier, providing an all-inclusive high-performance Nd:YAG laser equipment. The oscillator is built with the most advanced opto-mechanical structure components, including a temperature controlled resonator, optimized for pulse duration and peak power. The amplifiers are air-cooled with a diode array combined with an advanced linearizing algorithm. The diode array and the linearizing algorithm together produce less pulse-to-pulse energy variations, and minimize the thermal effects of the high-energy pulse excitation. LAMBDA PHYSIK LP 3248 is designed with an embedded control system including an intuitive touch screen display, allowing intuitive operator user interface, and easy integration into existing unit architecture. The laser has a range of programmable parameters to optimize the output performance according to specific needs. It is also compatible with external controllers, providing automation of the laser control, triggering, synchronization and other complex operations. LP 3248 supports multiple beam delivery systems for many applications. Integrated optical systems include collimating, focusing, beam splitting and pulse-shaping elements. Highly accurate positioning and scanning mirrors can be integrated into the beam delivery machine in order to deliver high-precision laser radiation into virtually any processing tool. LAMBDA PHYSIK LP 3248 is extremely reliable, providing long operation times and durability in harsh environments. Operating temperatures range from 10°C - 40°C, and the laser is designed to maintain high-power stability for extended periods of time, even after long laser-on times. Overall, LP 3248 laser is an excellent solution for a wide variety of laser micromachining applications. It has an advanced embedded control asset, a range of programmable parameters, and various beam delivery systems for different applications.
