MESAC Combi Cut L 850 / 1100 is a laser cutting equipment developed by MESAB Engineering Solutions. It is suitable for both thin (up to 0.5 mm) and thick (up to 25 mm) metals and non-metals, including copper, brass, aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium, and plastic. The system offers advanced cutting technologies, such as coaxial cutting, for cutting materials with complex shapes and curves. The unit utilizes a complex heating and cooling machine to ensure precision and clean cuts. The tool consists of a laser source, beam delivery asset, control panel, motorized table, cutting head, and all of the other components necessary for a CNC cutting model. The laser source consists of an 850 / 1100 power laser radio frequency (RF) generator capacitor bank switch with multi-point optic connection for greater efficiency. The RF power levels are adjustable and can go up to 1 meter. The beam delivery equipment includes the cutting head and nozzle aptitude. To achieve the desired cutting qualities, the proper parameters are adjusted by the computer-controlled cutting head and nozzle aptitude. The cutting head is mounted on a motorized gantry that moves along the two linear axes of the cutting bed and can be programmed for different cut shapes, depths, and angles. The cutting head contains a laser focus system, focusing the laser beam and guiding it to the material. The cutting head also contains scanners to measure the material thickness and adjust the laser power settings accordingly. Combi Cut L 850 / 1100 is designed to quickly and precisely cut thin and thick materials.
