The T-version features a powerful pump, with a maximum vacuum of 11 mbar, which can be adapted to the required speed in order to achieve the best accuracy. ALCATEL ASM 180T is a portable instrument and features a built-in user interface which is easy to use and understand. The display includes data readouts, allowing the user to analyse the sample results and assess potential leak sources quickly and accurately. It also includes special software functions which enable automatic operation by sensing the background noise and setting the appropriate thresholds for starting and stopping the test, as well as ensuring repeatable and consistent test results. Safety is ensured through several processes, including temperature control, the use of a flame trap to prevent any accidental fire, detection of air content, and direct communication to external systems.
