2010 vintage.
ULVAC Heliot 711W1 is an advanced leak detector that provides quick, accurate and reliable measurements of difficult-to-find gas leaks. The detector uses infrared technology to detect refrigerant, propane, methane, and other gases rapidly and accurately. Heliot 711W1 leak detector measures concentrations of various gases at levels as low as 0.1ppm. It features a compact sensor that can be easily moved to trouble areas, and offers an adjustable response time and an optional internal sensor for difficult-to-locate leaks. ULVAC Heliot 711W1 has two operation modes with separate alarm thresholds for each, including "normal" and "enhanced" modes. The normal mode offers a rapid response time (less than 0.5 seconds) and an automatic sensitivity boost function which allows for accurate detection of small leaks. The enhanced mode increases the response time up to 3 seconds for enhanced accuracy and precision. The enhanced mode also offers automatic sensitivity boosts that can detect leaks up to 400 times lower than in the normal mode. Heliot 711W1 has a large backlit LCD display and simple-to-use menus with intuitive push buttons. A built-in infrared laser pointer ensures accurate pinpointing of the detected leak and an adjustable LED guide lamp increases visibility. With a flexible and tough sensor hose, ULVAC Heliot 711W1 can be used in hard-to-reach places, such as behind kitchen appliances and under cars. Heliot 711W1 is powered by three "C" batteries, and is backed by a one-year warranty. The detector is equipped with a two-pin cam-lock style DC power outlet for optional AC/DC input. It also includes an audio alarm with adjustable volume and an adjustable alarm limit for each of the two modes. ULVAC Heliot 711W1 provides an ideal solution for technicians looking for a safe, easy-to-use leak detector with good performance and accuracy. It is a cost-effective and reliable way to detect difficult-to-find gas leaks.
