VEECO MS 17AM is a fully automated leak detector designed to provide reliable, fast and accurate testing of materials and products subjected to leak pressures. MS 17AM utilizes a vacuum chamber and two sets of sensors, one set to detect leaks and the other set to detect pressure changes. MS 17AM is capable of testing a range of products ranging from medium to low pressure and can detect leaks of 0.015mL/s or greater, depending on the tested product's pressure and geometry. The controller logs a range of data including test pressure, leak current, leak rate and leak detection limit. All testing results are displayed in numerical and graphical format and can be retrieved for review and future reference. VEECO MS 17AM offers a number of other features including auto-start, manual start and pause, servo-controlled chamber pressure and multiple data storage functions. Customizable test parameters can be easily programmed into the controller and can be saved and retrieved from the storage.
